Summers Lost god died today. or maybe it was tomorrow. i can't remember.

"ask anything."

static skies;
grizzled blue
sketching down
to sewer lines:
like a wish
on a dead star.

the feeling of gritted teeth
and fingers crossed
until they break.

shame tasted
like a scalpel
and a brick wall
against my throat.

and i was
chewing concrete
when i said,
"it's okay."

swallowing cinder blocks;
stuffing steel under skin.

sugar-sweet
on my cheek,
like book pages:

"where have you been?"

A Stranger'I would promise you until always ends, but I want to live forever.'

up-turned cheekbones:
a smile

a parody of laughter--
pallid and festering.

The Ravens of ValhallaO’er desolate shores wept the fate of immortal flames
And into a Winter sun I bleed my dreams,
as a thousand years of love & war dressed the sky
Long-ships sailed to the otherworld upon Odin’s breath
Betwixt night and day I wandered, shimmering, peering
— Till my chalice of Dragons blood flowed but no more
I became a warrior lost in the stars, drifting, ever falling,
Until the shadows entombed my soul in Raven-lore

Lo the tempest eerie; ‘magick entwining spirit and flesh
Upon snow I awoke dreary, beneath winged-silhouettes
‘Couldst be, my Princess adored; — last of the Valkyrie!
I recall — myriad of

AdventuresI walk on a road that takes me to a place I've never been before.....
I see the northern lights; I lay in the dessert late at nights.
When I lay I count the stars and recall some of those adventures I had way a far.
Then I come back down to earth with great tails of foreign worlds.
I tell me children my tails and their children too.
I'm an old man now but I really loved and enjoyed my youth.

GhostsNight time musings;
hollow-eyed and shallow-breathed,
filling the spaces between clouds.

Quivering shadow skin…

And there are voices in the dark,
lost sighs and weight upon whisper;
but, we are all whispers here.

Wildflowers, Imperfect BirdsI breathed your name like wildflowers under vast broken skies, in wide-open spaces. The wind blowing through them spoke of dew and dirt and petrichor, and there was sunlight on the ground like a mosaic patterned by god's own hands.

I said it like a monarch claiming new land: a declaration, a butterfly breath over old earth; like it was coffee on a warm morning with the sun in my eyes, interlacing with my lashes; like it was a dream; like it was a prayer like it was a miracle wrought of air and bone and body: you, in, out, in, out, in and in and in.

I cried it out like an earthquake between lip and lip, continents that don't quite fit: your

The Last Lie of SummerQuiet days, the overcast sky keeps
to itself, ignoring the living for weeks
at a time.

Undeserved suspicion
given to the first
fallen leaves.

This was the calm before the calm.
The man that is seen, but
nobody knows.

Promise yourself:
"Tomorrow I will say hello to him."

But we are all too busy dressing healed wounds.

Verifiedsometimes fear is a little black monster that waits in your closet
nursing all your skeletons back to health, tempting you
with tightly wound lies like bitter almond candies

and compliance is second only to believing that maybe, just maybe,
the words slithering out of its mouth (then around your throat,
choking you when you are finally alone enough to be convinced truth
is objective) are something real, something worth believing in

unlike all the other things that have forsaken you,
there's a certain comfort in knowing that fear is
a constant, it is a shadow, it is as concrete as the bags
you carry excess time in under your eyes;

Icarus Dreams i am running
with kites on runways;
slipping smiles into the breeze.

throwing paper airplanes
down terminals;
fluttering dreams in turbines.

i could've called anyone
there a liar--
but i only found me
inside my head.

and if i learned
that feathers
leave papercuts,

i might not

afraid of flying

between my fingers

Currently living by a primary school looking for some new prey to stalk again.

Masks himself as a confidant, someone that the children can call a friend.

Specialises in seducing and lulling its victims in to a false sense of security.

With an ulterior motive driven to defile and desecrate their innocence and purity.

How is this ungodly predator somehow able to evade all configurations of authority?

No one is capable of figuring out why this predator has these vile and vindictive thoughts.

No one can possibly understand how much torture and suffering his actions have brought.

Upon malodorous rapture of orphaned darkness,
eternal melancholy becomes twisted and hollow
In the severed reflections of sanguine shadows,
we will drown in ruby tears of pain and sorrow

Whispers of odium seep gently into my dreams...
The Raven lingers in solemn clouds dark as coal
My blood surges like a chorus of bitter requiem
And my lips — the anathema of your dying soul

Dark lust hums like a cold tide of weeping voices
Perfumed in ash & bone, hallucinations imbue —
Blood soaked robes hang from my slender bride,
shimmering like scarlet threads under ebon skies
After sable petals fall upon my beloved's gra

The Dead of WinterThe Dead of Winter

Winter's come; the snow has fallen,
Dead silence --- land full of forgiveness and pardon.
Tranquil peace. Time stands still,
With waters frozen and birds flying nil.
This tranquil scene, this beautiful place
Holds a nightmare yet unseen,
Of light catching, metal gleaming,
Of horses trotting, of mail clinking.

For men's minds not easily forget,
Of past grudges, insults, and threats.
Blanket the snow like ugly ink upon fleece.
The stage is set for our great tale,
Of men sided with belief; anger that seethes.
A stage with full flags of glory,
Of arrows turning to hail,
Of metal bashing against mail,

Cutter 'what are you scared of?'

she was too pale to be held against the sun: so she leans against it until you can't see her face.

her eyes were chalk-smudges on blackboards, blurred against a backdrop of white-washed walls. her outline was all fade-out and lace, as white as winter could be.

her words were quiet like stains are, clinging to a curtain in the window. just trying to blend into the pattern, or at least not become part of it.

and when she breathes her chest swells with see-through lungs--hoping that if you focus, you'll see right through her glass skin. after all, she's just a smudge of the wrong varnish in your eyes.

life slouches against the door

[i think i can hear it crying]

sickly grins lick my lips;

rub the undersides

of scream-sore throats

stained with the sweetest sort of bruise

every nerve--

a soft

atrium flow;

cutting

capillaries

screams all my own

swallowed in cotton lungs

pressure in my skull

fire in my veins

holding the skin i had

clinging tighter to fragility

and i just can't find

the strength to cry

anymore

the night stretches on for months

red.
